Are you a highschool student interested in exploring a career as a Physician. The Rural Outreach and Mentorship Initiative (ROMI), a program run by the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada. This initiative aims to promote mentorship to high school students interested in healthcare/medicine during their transition to post-secondary school.

Students in the program will be paired with a current Canadian medical student to provide individual mentorship and will have the opportunity to attend group events hosted by ROMI (e.g. Pathways to Medicine, Scholarship applications, CV workshop, Trivia, etc.)

If you think this is something that might be of interest to the students in your area, we’d be very grateful if you would forward this opportunity to high schools in your district, or to students directly through newsletters or online resources.
