Vaping Educational Event

The Huntsville High School Parent Committee is hosting an educational evening about vaping on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:30 pm in our library. Annette Felstead will be joining us that evening to discuss the concerns surrounding vaping. (here is an article from the CBC that discusses this https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/canada-teen-vaping-survey-e-cigarettes-1.6845408)

Annette is a Public Health Nurse at the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, presently in the Smoke-Free Program. Annette has been a public health nurse for 10 years, prior to public health employed in acute care, primary care, and community nursing. As a public health nurse, she uses health promotion, policy development, and advocacy to prevent and reduce, the use of commercial tobacco and vaping.

We hope you can join us for this event.
