OSSTF Scholarship

The following are the criteria for the Federation Family Educational Fund:

  1. The applicant must be a dependent child, stepchild, or ward of a currently Active OSSTF/FEESO member in good standing in the year of application (including a deceased member who was an Active OSSTF/FEESO member in good standing prior to their passing in the year of application).
  2. The applicant must have applied to or is currently attending a publicly funded college or university program, or an apprenticeship program that includes an academic portion offered through a college.
  3. All awards are conditional upon the enrollment of the recipient in a post-secondary program and proof of educational expenses (tuition, course textbooks / learning materials, student fees, on-campus living expenses, travel expenses to / from permanent residence, and on-campus residence) paid equal to or greater than $1,500.
  4. Although one may apply in multiple years, only one application per student per year will be accepted even if they are a dependent of two OSSTF/FEESO members. 
  5. Applicants may only receive funding in the amount of $1,500 once in their lifetime. 
  6. Only online applications will be accepted. If submitted successfully, you will receive a “thank you” confirmation; if you do not receive one, please contact [email protected].
  7. Once successful recipients are notified by the provincial office, it is their responsibility to ensure that documentation confirming enrollment and educational expenses are submitted and received by:
