EHFC Scholarship for Indigenous Students

The Environmental Health Foundation of Canada (EHFC), the Charitable Division of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI), is excited to announce a 2025 bursary for Indigenous students funded by Indigenous Services Canada.  The Environmental Public Health Bursary for Indigenous Students provides financial support for new and returning Indigenous students from September 2025 onwards who are pursuing an education in the field of Environmental Public Health at a program accredited by CIPHI.

The bursary, managed by EHFC and funded by Indigenous Services Canada, will provide between $12,000 and $20,000 per student per year and is intended to cover tuition and some living costs. The bursary will be renewable for each year of a student’s program subject to funding availability and proof of satisfactory completion of the previous year.

We would be grateful if you could share this exciting opportunity.  You may also direct students to www.ehfc.ca/bursaries-information where they can discover more about the bursary and access the application.

Applications are due by February 15, 2025.
