The Hoya Robotics team 4152 was formed in 2012 by Mr. McTavish. The 2016/2017 season they competed in FIRST Steamworks and were the district finalists at the Georgian College event.
In North Bay they won the Gracious Professionalism award and were an alliance captain for the quarter finals.
They qualified and competed in the Ontario District Championship and had a number of wins but were eliminated at the end of the qualification rounds. They ended up in the top 40 teams in Ontario.
