Grade 10 & 11 students interested in exploring Medical school options at NOSM-Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Discovery Day in Health Sciences, hosted by NOSM University on Accelevents is on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026
SCHOOL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
This year the event includes two workshops for each student, prizes for participation and promises to be a valuable and exciting day for students with an interest in health science, or medicine!
Discovery Day will allow high school students (targeted toward grades 10 and 11) to explore careers in medicine and health sciences. Participants will attend a dynamic keynote lecture, take part in two interactive virtual workshops (pre-selected from a catalogue of options) and join in a discussion with a diverse panel of academics, researchers and health-care professionals who’ll share all about their careers.
There will be no limit to the number of students who can register per school. However workshop spaces will remain limited – registration will be first-come, first-served. Registering your school does not guarantee spaces for students nor does it obligate you to have students register. This may mean they attend virtually from home that morning or are in front of a computer in a dedicated space at school.
