HHS staff is excited to welcome students to a new school year. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 8th. Here are some notes regarding what to expect:
Students should make their way to their homeroom, Block A class when they arrive. Be there prior to 8:50.
Student schedules are available in Student PowerSchool accounts.
Students who are new to the school board will have their accounts (network and PowerSchool) activated on September 8th.
For anyone who is usure of what their Block A class is, lists will be posted inside the main doors by the main office and outside of the Student Services office.
Grade 11/12s – if you have a spare Block A – come to the office for your locker and other homeroom info and review the slides you see posted below.
For grade 9 students only, homeroom teachers will have a hard copy of student schedules to distribute.
An administrator will visit each grade 9 block B class in the first week to welcome students. Grade 10, 11 and 12 students will attend a grade meeting in the second week.
Homeroom teachers will present the following, see below, to all students on the first day. This presentation reviews school procedures and covers some of the more important aspects of our daily routines.
