MORE ABOUT THE NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Students who have been nominated by their schools as National Book Award recipients may submit applications to the National Scholarship Program. In addition, students who identify themselves as meeting the scholarship criteria are invited to apply directly for the National Scholarship, without having been nominated for the Book Award.

To be considered for nomination for the National Scholarship or Book Award Scholar please let your Guidance counsellor know in writing by Friday October 7, 2022 and include a short paragraph outlining your eligibility. We can only nominate 1 Graduating Student. Please check out the link above to and make sure you meet all the criteria.

We will announce the successful HHS nominee by Monday Oct 10, 2022

Students who are nominated for the Book Award will be invited to apply for the National Scholarship. An email notification will be sent to your student nominee immediately after submitting your online
nomination. The email congratulates the student on becoming a Book Award recipient and encourages
them to apply for the National Scholarship. First step is to seek a nomination to the National Book Award.
