Dear Huntsville High School Parents,
The Parent Council Committee is pleased to announce that Timea E. Nagy will be speaking about Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation to our youth and parents/guardians on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
In the morning, students will be introduced to Digital Online Safety, Exploitation/online grooming as well as addressing what they can do and who they can call for support.
In the evening for parents, guardians and the public, topics that will be explored are: Human/Sex trafficking, Digital Online Safety, Latest Trends/Prevention, Local Resources and Victim Services.
Timea is a best selling author (Out of the Shadows), UN Advisor, Human Rights Activist and a Survivor. This is a FREE evening event that will take place at the Algonquin Theatre at 7:00 pm.
