Purpose:
To assist graduating students who have demonstrated satisfactory academic achievement and financial need, to pursue post-secondary education eg. university, college or technical school in any area of healthcare. The 3 Rotary clubs in Huntsville have joined together to offer this bursary in recognition of the ever-growing need for employees in all areas of healthcare in our community.
Requirements:
- Be a resident of: The Town of Huntsville: ie. Baysville, Huntsville, Port Sydney, Dorset or Dwight or immediate area.
- Enrolled in or applied to a post-secondary program of study in healthcare
- Receive a minimum of 75% in the student’s last credits.
- Demonstrate a financial need.
- Has graduated or will be graduating in the current academic year.
- Applications must be presented by email to Peter Redwood at [email protected] no later than Friday May 24th , 2024– in a word doc format
- A copy of the applicant’s official transcript of the previous year final and
current year first term marks must be attached to the application.
- Applicants will be contacted for an interview and the recipient will be selected
By June 14, 2024.
Note – You can only apply to one Rotary Bursary(either the Healthcare or the regular annual bursary)
