Job Description
Looking for a responsible, reliable student to work weekends and possibly some after school shifts at Decorated on Main as needed- this could lead to a permanent part time position with more hours during the summer –starting wage is 17.50 per hour- must be available to weekends without exception
Duties & Expectations:
- Assisting the senior staff member who is working with you in the store by restocking shelves, running up and down stairs to our stock room, vacuuming, cleaning- must like being very busy, active and physically fit
- Working in our basement stock room unpacking orders and pricing
- Customer service- providing exceptional friendly customer service
- Using our POS system to check customers out
- Helping the owner with merchandising by dismantling displays and putting the items away in the stock room, lifting artwork and other heavy items, ladder work
- Must present yourself with good hygiene and in professional, clean attire- we wear black tops, denim bottoms, black comfortable shoes
- Shovelling snow at front and back of store
- Taking garbage out and placing in our dumpster
- Any other small jobs and duties we need help with
