We’re working with Smart Serve to award over $400,000 in scholarships to Ontario SHSM students in the name of a stronger, healthier, and happier hospitality industry. There is a $2,000 scholarship earmarked for one student at every high school in the province with a Hospitality SHSM to help them pursue further studies in hospitality or tourism at post-secondary. The program is designed to support future industry leaders from the very beginning and connect graduating students in Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs with colleges and universities where they can pursue further studies.

To qualify, students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada living in Ontario, registered in a Hospitality and Tourism SHSM, and 16+ as of the date they submit their entry. The application deadline is June 15th, 2025 at 11:59pm ET.
